Hoping to acquire space at Emerge – residential recovery for men – Provide hope to men by helping teach a trade that they can use to create a living after recovery. “Hope is the good we look forward to that shapes how we live now,” says Rick Davis of His Hope. Their mission is to offer His Hope to and through individuals and families impacted by addiction. The vision is to become a community overflowing with His Hope into our families and workplaces. The outcome is restoration with God, healthy relationships with family, education in basic life skills, and safe housing.
Hope Hub
Women’s Residential Recovery Program
A fairly new program, the Hope Hub plans to start operating in the Emerge Center this fall. Hope Hub will utilize the Emerge Recovery & Trades Initiatives to help women in recovery gain work experience. They also have plans to start a separate business that will give back and help fund the non-profit. Beyond the trade center, the Hope Hub also looks to provide additional educational opportunities for people in recovery. Examples include how to develop and maintain healthy behavior patterns, self-care, financial literacy, etc. They also want to focus on making their program a “safe grace space” where women can always come back to find help and grace.

Chris Adams is the owner and founder of Narrow Path Plumbing, a local family-owned and operated business in Xenia, Ohio.
